Virtual Visa / Mastercard

Pay on Google Play with a virtual card

Google Play accepts Visa and Mastercard through your Google payments profile. Get a virtual card, top it up with crypto and pay for apps, games and subscriptions.

How to pay

  1. Get a card and top it up with the purchase amount plus a 2% buffer.
  2. Connect to a Singapore VPN and open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Payment methods.
  3. Add the card with the billing address from your GiftyCode account.
  4. Make the purchase and confirm with the 3-D Secure code if asked.

The card settles in SGD, so 2% is added on top of the merchant amount. Keep a small buffer on the card.

Check before you pay

Your Google Play country follows your payments profile and can change only once a year. A Singapore card needs a Singapore profile. If you'd rather not switch, top up your account with a Google Play gift card for your country.

If the payment is declined

Check the payments profile country and the card's address. If your country is different and should stay that way, use a Google Play gift card for that country.

Why a GiftyCode virtual card works

  • A regular virtual Visa / Mastercard — accepted wherever you can pay by card online.
  • Issued online in minutes, no identity verification required — verification only raises your limits.
  • Top up with crypto or your GiftyCode balance; every fee is shown before you confirm.
  • 3-D Secure codes arrive on the card page and by email; freeze the card in one tap.

Questions

Can I avoid changing my country?

Yes: GiftyCode sells Google Play gift cards for many countries for crypto — the code tops up your account balance with no card attached.

Does it work for in-app subscriptions?

Yes, in-app subscriptions are charged to your Google Play payment method — this card, if it's your default.

Do I need to verify my identity to get a card?

No. The card is issued without identity verification; verification only raises your account limits for issuing and top-ups.

How much does it cost?

The issue fee and the top-up fee are shown before you confirm each operation. Purchases carry an extra 2% for SGD settlement, charged by the issuing bank.
